The sintered micro-heat pipe can take into account the consideration of high heat transfer and low thermal resistance. Because sintered micro heat pipes have the advantages of high heat transfer and low thermal resistance, they are especially competitive when applied in the case of reverse heat transfer.
Sintering Heat Pipe Specification: 8mm
For the length of 8mm sintered heat pipe, due to technological factors, the shortest recommended sintered heat pipe is 100mm and shorter than 70mm. It is not recommended to use the sintered heat pipe. The longest recommended length is 460mm. The sintered heat pipe beyond this length can also be customized, but not within the recommended range. Considering the reverse heat transfer characteristics of sintered heat pipe, the ideal size range is 100mm-300mm.
Sintering heat pipe hardening:
8mm sintered heat pipe is soft and easy to bend due to sintering process, but it is also prone to dent when bumping, and it is prone to damage when using interpolation process in some application of uniform temperature occasions. The shrinking end of heat pipe can not become the effective heat transfer area as the outer diameter, so there will be an invalid end concept. The invalid end size of 8mm heat pipe is: spinning seal invalid end 4-5mm, vacuum exhaust seal invalid end 8-9mm, minimum bending radius of heat pipe 12mm.
Flattening of sintered heat pipe:
Users often need to flatten the heat pipe. The principle of flattening the heat pipe is to ensure only the flattening side size, that is, the flattening height. The width of flattening is formed naturally according to the diameter of the heat pipe, which is semi-elliptical on both sides. The flattening relationship of 8mm sintered heat pipe is shown in the table below. (Bending and flattening will cause a certain loss of heat transfer power)
